It isn't unusual that you take a trip and your child gets sick. We can often help you over the phone, but many symptoms need to be evaluated in person by a qualified medical professional. As many of you know, going to an ER or a walk-in clinic is not the ideal way to get your child treated on vacation.
To help you find a quailified pediatrician, here is a website to search for board-certified pediatricians who are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics: Find a Pediatrician while Traveling This is the nationwide referral service from healthychildren.org, the American Academy of Pediatrics' new website for parents.
Below is a list of pediatricians who have agreed to see our patients visiting their area. Of course it is not a complete list of any pediatrician that would be willing, simply those that have told us they would see our patients. We cannot guarantee the care you would receive in one of these locations, but these offices are staffed by board certified pediatricians and are willing to accept a travelling patient.
Always check with insurance before seeking non-emergent care with a new provider.
